Gilda F. Cashmore-Stafford, 83 of Strayhorn passed away peacefully on April 22, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven, MS.

She was born in Melbourne Australia on May 11, 1935 to Nancy Elizabeth Wright and John Cashmore. She moved to the United States. in the mid 1950's where she married the love of her life, Norman Roy Stafford of Askew, MS. She was very devoted to her Roman Catholic faith. She had a fulfilling career in the medical industry and loved investing in time with her husband, knitting, reading, and celebrating life with her family.

Gilda is survived by her son’s Tory Stafford (Margaret) of Askew, MS, Kenneth "Jon" Stafford (Sheila) of Strayhorn, MS and Norman Roy Stafford II of Austin, TX and one daughter Erynn Kathrynn L. Stafford-Patrick (Jason) of Hernando, MS; six granddaughters and five grandsons. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman Roy Stafford and one son Patrick D. Stafford.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home in Senatobia. Visitation will precede the services from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Longtown Cemetery. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
